All Motley Woods pens are hand made made by a single artist in her home studio. There is no automation, every aspect of the process is individual for each pen, finished on a Laguna lathe. Only a few are made of each design, and a design will never be repeated.
The pen is well-balanced and has enough weight to be steady in the hand, but not so much as to be tiring.
